This is my 100th deviation, and I wanted to do something special.
First I thought of submitting the colored version of the Dragon Quest VIII comic book cover, but it's taking me forever to even go back to coloring it, much less finishing it.
Then I thought it would be cool to try some digital art. Not oekaki, but something drawn in GIMP (just like using Photoshop).
I started a Peter Parker pic last week and I really liked the way it looked, but I want it to have a background and I don't have time to create one now and I haven't found one I like, so it'll have to wait, too.
So, not discarding the idea of going digital, I went for another idea I've had for some time, which is to use some characters I liked when I was a kid.
Since I love using obscure characters more than anything, that's what I chose for this landmark deviation.
From DC Comics, I give you Byrd Rentals, also known as Rubberduck!
Hope you like it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I read some translations in the back of Superman or Batman comics, I don't remember, since it was a long time ago.
