Before anything else happens, I'll mention I'm some six pageviews away from the 1000th!

Ahem... Okay, now...

I love Franklin Richards, and I love Rachel Summers, and they have loved each other in some alternate timeline stories.

Last week I sketched this, and I liked the sketch so much, I knew I had to draw it very soon.

Since I have no time to hand-draw anymore, and because I'm starting my "all-digital" gallery, I decided to create this using GIMP. Everything was done with a mouse, but the use of multiple layers made my coloring work so much easier :D.

I am utterly happy about how this, my third digital piece, came out, so it will be used to celebrate my 1000th pageview!

Hey, only I can have that attitude towards myself! Bah!

As you can see, I already ranted about it in the comment above this, and even though it'd take me less than 10 minutes to add them and submit this again, I opt not to, if only so I can learn not to forget something so important in the future.

:D But I think :love: Frank :love: is way cuter than Ray.

Thanks, I tried to keep the free-hand look of their hair's design as much as I could. It's usually lost whenever I ink a picture.

I cannot offer much advance critique on this, I see it well composed. Maybe the face of the girl looks a bit odd, but the anathomy and shading works for me.
The only thing I'd suggest to you is to tru to make expanded shadows with more details and use a bigger amount of different colours...just to enhace the eyecandy of your images :)

Expanded shadows as in large areas of shadow? I did think of using three shades instead of two, but kind of got lazy, hahahahaha. That happense a lot when I'm coloring :D.

I guess I did use a lot of greenish/ bluish tones; if not for the little red in her swimsuit everything would look the same (and I could have used green for her, too, so it's good I didn't).
