Quentin Quire is an Omega level mutant with developing powers he could no longer control.

His body started changing at a moment of great stress. He learned he was adopted (perhaps at the time he was informed his adopted mother passed away, or that's what I get from that sequence). He was also always rejected by Sophie, one of the Stepford Cuckoos. the Five-in-One.

This led him to try kick, a "drug" that affected mutants most strongly.

All the confusion he went through at that time made me want to draw this pic of him, inspired by Darren Hayes's Unlovable.

Of course Sophie would not give him even crumbs of her love, or showed him any affection, but as misguided as he was, it wouldn't be surprising if he tried to convince himself that she did. Important part would be the mention of his parents, whom he never really knew.

I hope you find this related to the lyrics, if not, no worries, I still feel it fits. I did change the word "king" for "queen", so it fit more when speaking about Sophie; I guess "king" would still apply, even if the subject's female, but I changed it anyway.

Now, to all my dA friends, sorry for not being online much... I have to come to cyber-cafés just to check on deviantART, and that's why I don't do it as often as I did before. Know that I miss you, even if can't comment on all your works.
