From the New Mutants.

Gosamyr was an alien who asked for the New Mutants' help to rescue her captive family. The females of her race have the power to make males hopelessly fall for them, do what they say, and fight other males for her affection.

Young brazilian mutant Roberto Da Costa, or Sunspot, who would otherwise be a ladies' man, fell especially hard for her.

This (old) pic was inspired by Savage Garden's "Chained to you".

Talk about a blast from the past. That's a pairing I had forgotten about. Back in high school, I scribbled some fan art of Gosamyr in my sketch book. This takes me back.

Art drawn from those old titles and characters makes me nostalgic, because that was during a relatively cool time of my life, not just when I was reading comics, but when I started drawing fan art, too.

If you search Gosamyr in dA, half the results are by you. :3

The massive faving is mostly the result of me trundling through your gallery at random and discovering pics I thought I'd faved I actually hadn't. Mostly because I found them before I had an account, I suspect. ^^
